(please bear wid the shortforms wid words ) :P
30th MARCH/ 2009...it begins here !!!
PUNE dint seem very pretty to me today, there were two major reasons :
1) mom wasnt around
2) this was not a visit , but a 6 month stay
wont really write down what all i did thereafter...just wanna describe the city from my point of view ....
for me pune after a week remains catching the "PUNE STATION BUS " from Ruby hall clinic , pop down at SASOON , catch another bus from ST.ANNIE BESANT MARG for SALUNKE VIHAR n then get onto the 7th FLOOR of the office apartment....
i see a lot of people , they are going somewhere ... office probably , they dont care what you are wearing ( if i wear a frock like i did in pune in nagpur , they'd spalsh it in d newspaper ) , these people dont mind crushing ur finger while moving in d bus

.... they r very busy it seems...i see big malls , crowded shops - everything is jazzy n all set to attract customers ... i see buses carelessly passing the roads , so many of them at a time .. i see auto-rickshaws , oogling out at passers by ...wanting to get occupied.....i see walkers passing by , they have wrapped their faces..they dont want me to look at them ..then at the very corner of my eye i saw the glass of the bus window...I SAW ME..........
i felt lost in all those pom poms ..... i suddenly realised what a new city it is...in that small mirror image i felt lonely in the crowd....n the next moment in the manifestation mixed with the to n fro of the bus , i saw the people behind my reflection , n i felt 1 amongst them...
i love dining in pizza hut n dominos now ( thats so new ) ... i've walked into the PUNERI FASHION , of not really looking for matching earings n ol...i dress up the way i want , wear cute lil frocks n love eating ice-cream at the amul shop near ganesh mandir..........i look out of the bus window now , i see shops n i see stuff i wanna pick , i open my hair , straighten them n put a lil bead , i dont think combing matters now :P.........
i talk in english to the dudhwala bhaiya n the auto uncles......i pick skirts over kurtas now ...hehe..thats new again..........
i like to look at the florists stuff....bright fragrant flowers , i like walking the streets alone noticing people around , laughing wid myself , sleeping by myself ( without anjali besides , like in nagpur ).....i wash my clothes , put them to dry ... i decide if i am to go out or not , im to buy this or not....
n then again i look outta d window , n remember the "GARREB RATH " window , n i see mom n aj waving at me wid tears , n i cry.........cry for the estrangement ...
its a mixed feeling...IM LIVING BY MYSELF in this UNKNOWN CITY......n people thats so cool ! :)

ya right... ambiguity is a part n' parcel of shifting to a city like Pune from the best place I know like Nagpur.
Kudos!!!
Never felt anything like that about Pune before .. but now I kind of do.. and please bear with the complete words, guess not many people are used to that these days .. :)

Good luck with your business school process! Never lived in Pune or Mumbai, but I laughed out loud when I read about 'oglers' in Nagpur! Story of most cities!!!
